Jeff Stelling feels Hartlepool United should consider Karl Robinson as Pools begin hunt for new head coach

Just nine games into the new National League season, Pools are on the lookout for a new head coach after Lee Clark, who was only appointed in May, resigned following a dismal run of six defeats in seven matches.

With the likes of Stuart Maynard, who led York City to the National League title last term, former Southend United boss Kevin Maher, Pete Wild, who steered Halifax Town to successive top seven finishes during a successful stint in West Yorkshire, as well as Chris Beech, the club's current head of recruitment, all being touted as possible contenders, Stelling has suggested an alternative option.
