Former Hartlepool United goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright has signed for League Two side Grimsby Town on a season-long loan deal from Hull City.
Cartwright, who was born in Grimsby and grew up supporting the Mariners, is set for a second spell at Blundell Park having made 32 appearances during the 2023/24 campaign, winning the club's young player of the year award.
Following a serious injury that caused him to miss almost all of the 2024/25 season, the talented goalkeeper signed for Pools last summer.
Despite only joining on the eve of the new campaign, Cartwright made an immediate impression in the North East, keeping five clean sheets in his first six games for Pools.
