Pools are still reeling from a remarkable few days following head coach Lee Clark's dramatic resignation at the weekend.While it's certainly never boring at Victoria Park, Clark's sudden decision to step down - and, in particular, the manner of it - left supporters in shock.

Although it was becoming increasingly apparent that Clark, who was only appointed in May, was under growing pressure from the fanbase, few could have foreseen him announcing his resignation in the immediate aftermath of Saturday's 3-1 loss at home to newly-promoted Worthing, his side's sixth defeat in seven matches.
